Lots of winter coats seem to come with detachable fake fur collars now, so if you've got one lurking around, this is an easy way to change the look of another jacket.

I love a good embellished shoulder!
I created my own (removable) shoulder embellishments a while ago using a heap of buttons and some shoulder pads.

Dolce & Gabbana's tapestry-style might come ready made, but a similar effect could come of applying a thrift-store tapestry piece to a mesh top (or painstakingly embroidering it all yourself...)
